FIREWORKS SAFETY TIPS

  • Have an adult supervise use of all fireworks. Sale is prohibited to children under 12 years of age.
  • Never give to small children. Even sparklers burn as hot as 1200 degrees F.
  • ALWAYS read and follow directions.
  • Have a hose or bucket of water nearby for emergencies and to douse misfired/used fireworks.
  • ALWAYS ignite outdoors. Keep away from dry grass or wooded areas.
  • NEVER point fireworks at people, pets, cars, or buildings.
  • NEVER experiment or try to make your own fireworks. Making any type of explosive devise is a felony.
  • Only light one firework at a time and move away quickly. Never try to re-ignite a “dud.”
  • Store fireworks in a cool, dry place and dispose of properly after use.
