Hurricanes and Tropical Storms

South Carolina is one of the most vulnerable states in the nation to be impacted by hurricanes and tropical storms. Of the state's 46 counties, 6 have coastlines, which border the Atlantic Ocean. These counties have over 200 miles of general coastline and all inland counties may be directly affected by these storms.
